Advanced Search
In the latest version of Genesis Foods, users can see the number of search results returned, and they can use the pagination at the bottom to scroll through all the results. In addition, users can use the toggle arrows to sort results by Supplier, Name, Version and Last Modified.
Multi-Authority Selection
Pre-selecting Authorities that the organization reports under in the User Preferences screen will streamline the process by pairing down the Authority Nutrient Lists to only the items visible in the selected authority or authorities.
User Roles
The latest version of Genesis Foods includes three user roles: Admin, Editor and Viewer. The Admin role has access to the new User Management tab and can invite new users with their first name and email without contacting support. They can also make current users inactive. The Editor Role reflects our standard account; they can create new Ingredients, Recipes and Labels, but they cannot invite new users. The Viewer Role can view account content and run reports.
The New User will appear on the User Management Screen as Invite Sent. Once the New User has activated the invite, the Admin will be able to see them as Active. Admins can also see the date of last log in for all Users on the account.
Admin roles can deactivate users by accessing the User Management Screen. This feature is helpful when people leave a company.

When creating labels for recipes targeting an Infant (less than 12 months old), Child (1-3 years), or a Pregnant/Lactating Individual, additional Daily Value options are now available. Labels can be created with a single profile (Adult, Infant, Child, Pregnant/Lactating) or a dual profile (for Infant/Child only).

To populate the Dual Percent Label Template, the user must first choose the Infant or Child Recommendation Profile. The option will not populate if the Adult or Pregnant/Lactating profile is chosen.
The left column will display the Daily Value percentage for Infants through 12 months, and the right column will display the Daily Value percentage for Children ages 1 through 3 years.
Bilingual Allergen Statements
Genesis Foods will now translate the Allergen Statement into Spanish for U.S. Authority at the Recipe level. The User can preview English and Spanish versions of the Allergen Statement by selecting the appropriate Language at the bottom of the section.
Note: Genesis Foods will not automatically translate the Ingredient Statement. However, users can edit the Ingredient Statement and use their own translation to create a bilingual Ingredient Statement. The translation will appear in the Preview and on the Packaging Assets report.
