Preview Labels on Draft Recipes
Users can now preview Labels on draft Recipes, so that they can easily compare multiple versions of a Recipe before deciding which one to finalize. Preview labels contain a draft watermark to ensure proper approvals before use.
Users can also generate packaging reports for preview labels. The draft Watermark will also appear here.
Once the Recipe is approved, the draft Watermark will disappear, moving the label from Preview to Approved status.
Percent Weight of Ingredients in Recipes
Users will be able to view the percent weight each ingredient contributes to a Recipe formulation on the Recipe page and on the Ingredient & Nutrient Analysis Report.
Access Groups
An Access Group is a new feature that allows account administrators to set restrictions on which users have access to different ingredients and recipes in their account.
Food items can be added to an Access Group one-by-one or in bulk through an Advanced Search function.
Find and Replace Ingredients or Sub-Recipes
The Find and Replace feature allows users to replace ingredient A with ingredient B across all current versions of recipe formulations.
During the process, users will select the food item to replace, select the new food item, compare the items and any allergen changes, and confirm which recipes to apply the change.
New Dashboard
The Genesis Foods dashboard has a new look, making it even easier to access new workflows and commonly used features while monitoring restricted additives in the user’s food items.
AskReg Restricted Additives Monitoring
When enabled, our AI Assistant AskReg will scan a user’s database and alert them to any restricted additives in their Ingredients or sub-Ingredients both on the updated Dashboard and on the Ingredient page. AskReg suggestions are authority specific and will update automatically when there are changes made to the ingredient or sub-ingredient.
The dashboard will link to a new page with additional information about additives present, affected ingredients, and regulatory information.
If enabled, users will also see an alert on the Ingredient Statement that will lead them back to the restricted additives sub-dashboard.
