2025 October Release Notes

SSO Update

To provide additional security, new users created via the customer’s SSO provider are created as deactivated. An Administrator can then activate new users from the Account Management page.  New users will need to reach out to the Administrator as there is no default notification.

The Administrator user page now shows Login Method (SSO or Manual) and allows the Administrator to sort by Active/Deactivated/Pending users.

The SSO will bring in the new user’s first name, last name and email as read-only. The Administrator can edit the user’s role and active status.

Food Comparison Report

The Food Comparison Report, accessed from the main dashboard, allows users to compare multiple food items at the same time. Food items within the report can be categorized.

Users can choose and order column data and settings, including User Code, Nutrients, Allergen Statement, Ingredient Statement, Quantity and Measure, Attributes, Item Code, Cost and Supplier. Within these columns, users can adjust which authority, nutrients displayed, number rounding, calorie ranges, languages displayed, etc.

The report can then be viewed on screen or exported to .CSV or .XSLX file types.

Sub-Ingredient Aliases

Aliases for sub-ingredients will help multi-Authority users easily create compliant ingredient statements. Aliases have been available at the Ingredient level to allow for alternate names in other languages as well as alternate spellings. Aliases and descriptors (formally supplemental text) are now available at the sub-Ingredient level.

Once added at the Ingredient level, these options are readily available at the Recipe level to easily create compliant multi-lingual Ingredient statements by choosing the sub-Ingredient aliases from a drop-down menu.
