New Dashboard Interface
Genesis Foods recently updated its Ingredient, Recipe and Label dashboards to incorporate all the features from the Advanced Search and provide a streamlined experience in one convenient location. The user can toggle easily between these dashboards and create a new Ingredient, Recipe, or Label by using the button in the header of each dashboard.
Expanded Ability to Override Serving Size on US Labels
The ability to override the Serving Size on US Labels expanded from Dual Column (dual recipe) and Aggregate Label types to all US Label types, including Standard, Tabular (Horizontal), Linear, and Dual Column (single recipe). Once the new Serving Size is saved, the Label will automatically recalculate values based on that Serving Size.
Note: This feature is not yet available for labels under other Authorities.
Additional Fish Child Allergens
Users now have additional options when choosing Child Allergens for Fish products. For US Authority in English/Spanish, users can now choose: Pangasius/Pangasius, Perch/Perca, Swai/Swai, Whitefish/Pescado blanco, and Whiting/ Merluza. For Canada Authority in English/French, users can now choose: Pangasius/Pangasius, Perche/Perche, Swai/Swai, Whitefish/Poisson Blanc, or Whiting/Merlan.
Total Gram Weight in Formulation
We have added a total amount field in the recipe formulation to auto-calculate and display the gram weight of the recipe.
This can be seen both on the recipe page and while editing the formulation.
