Split Allergen Statements

Pre-Requisite: Export Food Comparison Report

When exporting a Food Comparison Report to Excel, the allergen statement exports to a single column.

You can split allergens into their own columns using the 'Text to Columns' function in Excel.

1. Select the column that contains your Allergens and then select the 'Data' tab and then select 'Text to Columns' from the ribbon.
   
   
    
2. Select the 'Delimited' option and then select 'Next'
   
   
    
3. Select the comma delimiter and enter a colon ( : ) in the other delimiter field.
   
   
    
4. Select 'Finish'. The allergens will now be split into individual columns.
