Customize the May Contain (PAL) Header

Adding a custom PAL Header

To add a Precautionary Allergen Labeling (PAL) Header:

1. Navigate to Options > Program Settings
2. Use Quick Links to navigate to the PAL Header section
3. Add the PAL Header using the "Add Header" field
4. Click "Save"

Selecting a PAL Header for your May Contain Statement

To use a custom PAL Header for a recipe's May Contain statement:

1. Open your recipe
2. Use Quick Links to navigate to the Allergens section
3. Select Edit "May Contain"
   

4. Select the desired PAL Header from the drop-down list
   

Viewing a Custom PAL Header

1. The selected PAL Header will display in your May Contain Preview:
   

   Note: This statement can also be copied to your clipboard using the copy button to the right of the statement.

2. At least 1 allergen must be populated in the May Contains statement for the PAL Header to apply
   
3. The selected PAL Header will also display in the Allergens section of the Nutrient Spec Sheet and Packaging Assets reports.
